During my recent visit to Blu Galapagos Sustainable Waterfront Lodge, I found it to be the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking Galapagos Islands. Nestled in Puerto Ayora, the hotel's excellent location is just a short walk from the bustling main street and the iconic Charles Darwin Research Station, allowing for easy access to both adventure and relaxation. The charming, open-air restaurant was a highlight, offering an impressive dining experience right on the water; I was captivated by the playful sea lions swimming by as we enjoyed our fresh ceviche paired with crisp wine. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing a sanctuary after long days of exploration, complete with surprisingly good water pressure and reliable air conditioning. I particularly appreciated the friendly staff who went above and beyond in arranging tours that let us witness the remarkable wildlife of the islands up close. For those who share my love for nature and tranquility, I highly recommend Blu Galapagos-it truly embodies the spirit of conservation while providing an enchanting escape.
